Burmese mountain tortoise, Asian forest tortoise, Asian brown tortoise, six-legged tortoise, this tortoise has over sixteen different common names (what the hell). While a popular pet, the largest tortoise in Asia is critically endangered in its natural habitat, as many threats such as hunting and habitat loss are pressuring this slow-paced creature.
